Reimagining Cincinnati's Streetcar
Public transit is a critical component of the urban environment. Since 2016 the Cincinnati’s streetcar, known as the Cincinnati Bell Connector, has operated on a 3.6 mile loop through Downtown and Over the Rhine. Though the streetcar is fun and free to ride, it leaves much to be desired in terms of acting as a functional piece of transit infrastructure. This project explores the shortcomings of the current streetcar and imagines a future where it is expanded to create a more functional system that better serves Cincinnati’s most urban areas.
