Connecting Low-Income Youth to Natural Environments Through Safe and Active Pedestrian Routes

How can the city of Cincinnati create more safe pedestrian routes to natural environments for low-income youth?

I explored this topic because I grew up getting a great deal of outdoors time, whether it was in natural environments or man-made green spaces within the urban fabric of Cincinnati. Growing up with many programs that catered towards the youth helped as well as attending schools that allowed me to gain more experiences such as camping, canoeing, farming etc. through group intercessions for learning experiences. These many factors helped to develop me into a well-rounded individual, which I believe could also help the younger generations
