This capstone examines how the spread of the spotted lanternfly could affect Cincinnati’s urban trees and why proactive planning is essential. It demonstrates an interest in protecting ecosystems from invasive species through research, case studies, and local analysis. By identifying vulnerable species and effective management strategies, it proposes a plan to strengthen a resilient urban forest.
