The built environment has a role to play in reversing the loneliness epidemic and social isolation trends being experienced in America today. Our towns and cities can create areas that minimize the barriers to interaction and make social connections easier. In particular, this project proposes an analog area that intentionally reduces digital dependence to create more spaces and places for face-to-face interactions.
