Food Accessibility
Through Urban Farming and Mobility Improvements

Food insecurity affects over 60% of Cincinnati’s population. Our project aims to address this issue through urban farming and improved mobility. Urban farming has been utilized for a long time in neighborhoods like Walnut Hills. These gardens can continue to be more effective for the community by improving accessibility, infrastructure, education, and partnerships. These ideas can then be used to bring urban farming to other neighborhoods dealing with food insecurity, such as North Fairmount.
